Moment of clarity

I was sitting here when I had what alcoholics refer to as a “moment of clarity.”

There is a certain unmistakable moment when, try as we might to overlook it, it becomes clear that things are careening out of control. Often it's triggered by something seemingly tiny like a disapointment, a bad day of sort or just a harmless, little thought that creeps in to your brain. But its true weight hits later when your all alone and you begin to wonder how, exactly, you became the guy who you are, and have become.

My moment came tonight on an otherwise normal Thursday evening when, I was doing the routinely robotic cycle that starts my work schedule at my place of employment.

I have had moments like this a few times in my life usually before big dissions or hours of forced contemplation, But Tonight was different I wasn’t even in the realm of pondering my life, but as if almost blind sided the harsh reality hit me like a brick

Im going to be a father with in two weeks, I am no longer happy with my job, I feel constriced in my carrer growth and why have I wasted so much time and so on. Now not all of thees thoughts were bad just very pure and percice as to my life, its perspective and its direction.

Where are all these thoughts coming from all at once and as I sit to organize my thoughts, thinking with open eyes. I realized it came from a comment a very good friend of mine had said
They said “you need to step out and take a deep breath of freedom and let go of your stress”.

Wow Could it really be just that simple a breath.

I can say that moments like this are actually somewhat liberating. When You can actually look back and forward at all the depressing, gut-wrenching realities of your own life with a somewhat sense of detachment. You judge your self and you choices as an outsider.

My vision is clear as if were I was witnessing a marvelous sunset as a blind man for the first time, it is that vividly clear.

I know what I must do for myself, my son , my family and my career.

WHAT OPPORTUNITY HAVE YOU PLANTED TODAY ?

Have you ever noticed that when opportunity arises, it’s never in “our time”? Rather, it comes at sometimes the most “inopportune” times – meaning that we’re often not prepared to receive it and use it to our full advantage.

Many times, we plant seeds of intention…unintentionally. What I mean by that is sometimes we start thinking about what we want; except when we do, we have planted a seed of intention. Intention turns to action, and action results in an equal reaction. The same holds true for ill thoughts. there are some people who bring negative results into their lives because they plant unhealthy seeds in their minds. If you can think it, it can happen. The whole point of the matter is that whatever you think, you become. So if your true intention and desire is to land the job of your dreams, you will subconsciously begin acting on that thought’s behalf. The same holds true for pessimism and procrastination. If you think that you “can’t” perform a certain job, or “I’ll never own a house,” or “I can’t get that promotion,” etc. — then guess what? You won’t.

Opportunity always comes fast and furious but we have to be ready to receive it. When we plant the seed of intention – for whatever that may be – we must realize that it will come. It may not magically appear overnight, but when opportunity does come knocking at life’s door, you’ve got to be mentally and intuitively prepared by opening your mind to the potential and blessings that are ready to come into your life.
What are you thinking at this moment? are you’re ready to acquire prosperity, wealth, and happiness.
You can’t afford to not be prepared for opportunity. You know that whatever it is that your heart desires that you can attain it. But it begins with a seed of intention, and that intention requires action on your part. How far are you willing to go to land the job you’ve always wanted?

How deep are you willing to dive to find that buried treasure? How long are you going to keep stopping yourself from achieving success? It really boils down to you. You are a walking billboard indicative of your life. What you project is just as important as what you take into your mind’s eye. When your perception of life is in tune with your focus of intention, you begin to rapidly increase your chances at opportunity. Go ahead – plant your seed for opportunities today.

SOMETIMES PEOPLE DO NOT THINK ABOUT WHAT SEEDS THEY PLANT IN THIER LIVES.
JUST A LIL FOOD FOR THOUGHT....

When is enough, enough ?

When can a man stop and say enough is enough, when he finally gets out of his own way and feelings to see the truth no matter how painful it truly is.

How can a man release his harbored anger, aggression and defeat in the presence of love ?

When can we put to bed our toxic pasts, that did nothing but lead us down dead end streets and at times almost take our lives ?

ARE WE OUR OWN ENEMY ?

We endure hardships, pain and suffer unneeded for our loves.
we stay stuck in places we don't like, all in the name of loyalty.
we don't move forward for fear of being something other then what we are at this moment.

I for one Have opened my eyes, I am saying enough is enough it's my time.
With my hard work in hand i will now eat from the fruits, that my sweat and time have made grow instead of enjoying the view from afar.

I will no longer stand in the way of myself covered in armor of doubt uncertainty and fear i will step out and face my success head on as a warrior.

I will love with open arms and not a guarded heart.

I will no longer willingly poison my body with foods , drinks , smokes that i know are slowly killing me and robbing me of the time i have set aside for my future.
I will no longer sit idly as my body proportions grow due to my inactivity.

I will no longer let opportunities fall thru my hands like sand in a blowing wind, lost to never be found.

I must make my self the best man that i can be in every way, no matter the cost because if your not a good man in heart, body , mind and soul you cant be the best friend, father, brother, husband, teacher or leader.
all these things are necessary tools to fend off the negative forces in the world that looks to cut you at the knees and watch you and everything you hold dear crumble.

I will protect my family like a shield, warm them as the sun , give forth knowledge as a teacher, love them like a father and be their for them as thier very own breath.

I will welcome my son in to this world as a king cause that's what he deserves, may he step on my stones of dedication to something more then i could ever even dream for myself.

Today i stop being my own enemy for you my Son.
